THE HYPING OF GLOBALIZATION
..The problem with the "brain-gain" theory is that developing countries fail to institute structural economic and political reforms for the long term as they rely on present overseas remittance. This comes handy to politicians who exploit populist rhetoric of encouraging massive migration to developed countries mainly the United States. Instead of making hard choices that will fix their economies for the long term, they get away with short fixes tied to the survival of their rule of power.
