CATASTROPHY IN THE MAKING
..The humanitarian crisis in Sudan underscores the inability of the US to marshall its resources to solve problems that are more important to the world than just making war. If Iraq was not invaded, US soldiers together with UN forces will most likely be at the forefront of trying to stop the genocide that is going on in this African country. US forces are spread out thinly around the world and tne government is not about to commit forces when so much is at stake in Iraq because of post-war planning failures by the Pentagon.
